Cachito Vallés

Cachito Vallés (Seville, 1986) is a visual artist trained in Fine Arts at the University of Seville. His practice operates at the intersection of art and technology, developing installations and systems in which light functions as a primary material.

Through the use of programming, sound and mechanical devices, he constructs works that function as open systems, where repetition, variation and error are integral to the process. The development of his own tools —from software to drawing machines and light systems— is central to his practice, integrating process and outcome within the same structure.

His works generate environments in which perception and the experience of time are activated through sensory means, without relying on direct representation.

He has exhibited at institutions such as the Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo (CAAC), Centre Pompidou Málaga and C3A. In 2025, he presented his exhibition El eterno presente at CAAC.
