Kenor’s mural and sculpture on the Star of the Seas

As part of its collaboration with ICArt and Royal Caribbean, ThePartners managed the Light the Way project in its entirety, created by Barcelona-based artist Kenor, transforming one of the most emblematic areas of the Star of the Seas: the funnels.

Visible from the ship’s central atrium and its Central Park, the intervention redefines the vessel’s visual landscape through a monumental installation composed of a 24 x 13 meter mural extending from decks 15 to 19, and a 15 x 13 meter metal sculpture positioned in front of it.

Conceived as the Star of the Seas’ signature piece, the sculpture unfolds in multiple layers of overlapping geometries, crafted from stainless steel and aluminum painted in an intense magenta tone that evokes beams of light and energy in constant motion. The mural, serving as a backdrop, incorporates circular shapes and graphic references to sound and audio devices, composing a visual narrative full of rhythm and color.

The work celebrates collective energy, creativity, and the spirit of community, turning this area into an iconic meeting point that invites interaction, contemplation, and shared celebration.
