Ana H. del Amo

Ana H. del Amo (Cáceres, 1977) is a visual artist trained in Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona. Her practice is centred on colour, form and material, combining painting, sculpture and assemblage.

Working with found objects and everyday materials, she constructs geometric pieces through processes of intervention and transformation. Her work is grounded in making, developed through direct experimentation with materials, where colour acts as a structural element defining relationships between planes, volumes and surfaces.

Her practice operates in a space where painting expands into three dimensions, exploring formal and material possibilities through an open and process-based approach.

She has developed an ongoing exhibition trajectory in galleries and institutions in Spain and Portugal, and has participated in art fairs such as ARCO and Estampa. Among her recognitions is the Pollock-Krasner Foundation grant (New York).
